AKIRA

とあるゲストの上着の背中に、やけに見覚えのあるような絵がプリントされていました。

じぃ～～（っと見る。ちょっと遠かったので）。


「…ややっ!!!　あっ、アレはまさしくっ!!」（と、声には出してませんが）


DJにジャグリングにマルチな才能を発揮されております、アムステルダム在住フランス人、ヤンチャそうな顔だけれども、笑顔率が非常高いPierreさん。

そーです。『AKIRA』です。私はホントーぉにこの作品が大好きなのです。

ASO BASE BACKPACKERSにはOSUSUME NOTEBOOKなるものがあり、その最初のページに私が書いたおススメが、『AKIRA』でした。以下に、以前頑張って英語で書きました全文をご紹介します。

I will recommend my all-time favorite manga. I guess it is unnecessary to take it up for the most of people, because it is just so famous.

『AKIRA』by Otomo Katsuhiro. I used to (maybe still?) think that I would not be able to communicate properly to one who does NOT like or interested in AKIRA. I remember when I was in junior high school, I talked to one of my friend how I like AKIRA…「Well, AKIRA is SO interesting, isn't it?」 the friend replied,「Well, you know, AKIRA is boring…」


…I was speechless.

I did not understand at all how could it be possible for him to think that. That day, I think I learned something that there are a variety of people in the world whom beyond my understanding.

I believe definitely, cleary AKIRA is a masterpiece without any doubt and I know most people agree with me.

You should not die before reading AKIRA at least once….

思わず、「おおーーーっ!!!」っと声、出ました。


…なんかコーフンして感嘆符が多くなってしまいましたが…、
